Jonathan Olive was raised in the small community of Pawleys Island, South Carolina. Around the age of 15, he began traveling the world with Pawleys Island Community Church, shooting, directing, writing and editing documentaries on the church’s progress in missions, and of the people that took part in these trips. After receiving his Bachelors of Fine Arts at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Jonathan went into editing feature films. He has edited the films “The Dog Days of Summer” (2007), “The List” (2007), and “The Trial” (2010). After editing “The Trial,” he received his Masters of Arts at Regent University.
Jonathan began working for Barrett Creative in 2008 and has since edited countless projects for Barrett Creative, editing everything from corporate videos to documentaries.
Jonathan’s passion is in creating media that makes a difference.
